Thai rider grabs ‘Overall Best ASEAN’ Award

‘Matoom’ Peeraphol Chawchiangkwang of Thailand Continental Cycling Team has grabbed the ‘Overall Best ASEAN Award’ on the stage 2 of the second day of the international road race “The princess Maha Chakri Sirindhron’s Cup Men’s Tour of Thailand 2019” on Tuesday 2 April 2019 on the route of Uttaradit province to Nan province with the distance of 182.2 kilometers.

Moreover, riders of Thailand National Team led by Kerati Sukprasart, have been united to take the ‘Best ASEAN Team Award’ for the second day in a low followed by Thailand Continental Cycling Team and 7ELEVEN from the Philippines.

While the winner of this stage is Sanghoon PARK of LX Cycling Team from Republic of Korea with the time of 4.21.12 hours. He will wear the pink jersey(Government Savings Bank) to lead the third stage.

The stage 3 on Wednesday 3 April 2019 becomes the hardest one of the tour this year. It will start at 9.00 am within Nan province from Nan – Doi Phuka – Nan with three King of Mountains and one intermediate sprint of the distance of 199.70 kilometers.
